Privacy Policy

I appreciate how important protecting your privacy is on the internet, and I am committed to protecting the privacy of those who visit and use my website. I will never disclose information about my customers to third parties, except where needed (for example, when arranging delivery with a courier or sharing a business case study) and where I have your express permission to do so, or where it is required by law.

Your Privacy:

I collect a certain amount of personal information from you when you register for my mailing list. By registering, you consent to me collecting this personal data. Data that is collected will be your name, and email address. Occasionally, you may be asked to provide a phone number. This information is only used to contact you for enquiries and is not stored long-term.

What Personal Information Is Collected From You:

If you have registered for my newsletter, I may occasionally send you information to update you on news, products, or special offers I may be having. You have the option to opt out of my email marketing at any time; all you need to do is click the “unsubscribe” link in any email newsletter I have sent you. Alternatively, you can send an email to hello@amymorgan.co and I’ll ensure that this is removed for you. Please note that removing yourself from my mailing list will not stop communications regarding any work commitments—that’s something I most definitely want to keep you updated on!

Communication & Marketing

On the odd occasion, Amy Morgan & Co may occasionally link to third-party websites. Please note that if you click through to one of these websites they will have their own terms and conditions of use and I do not accept any responsibility or liability for their policies, privacy or otherwise. As always, when using the internet, I encourage you to check the privacy policy of any (and all) third-party sites before any personal information is submitted to them.

Third-party Websites

My site uses cookies. Unfortunately, they’re not the ‘gooey in the middle delicious’ kind, but the ‘small information files’ kind. These small information files are sent to me by your computer (or other devices) which I can access when you use my site in the future. There are three types of cookies:

Chocolate Chip Website Functionality Cookies:
These cookies enable you to browse the website and use features on my website (such as my shopping cart). These are the kind of cookies which enable my site to load faster for you and remember what you popped in your basket. I use various types of functionality cookies to try and make your experience as streamlined as possible. These cookies are essential to your experience on my website.

White Chocolate & Raspberry Website Analytics Cookies:
These cookies are used to analyse and measure how my customers (you!) are using my website. The information collected is anonymous, and I track this information as it enables me to continuously improve my website as I strive to make your experience here as pleasant as possible.

Oat and Raisin Customer Preference Cookies:
My website will remember the preferences you make when you browse or shop online. The information stored for this includes your name/language/location and is collected to make your browsing experience easier, simpler and more personal to you.

Cookies:

Amy Morgan & Co is the data controller for the purpose of the Data Protection Act 1998. If you would like to access the information I hold about you, then please email hello@amymorgan.co with “Information Request [Your Name]” as the subject line. For security reasons, you may be asked to verify your identity, and there may be a charge for this to cover the cost of my time.

I absolutely love hearing from my customers whether it’s positive feedback or a negative complaint (though I aim to keep the latter to a minimum!) So if you’d like to get in touch with me you can do so by emailing: hello@amymorgan.co
